Mission Statement
The purpose of our Mission Statement is to assist the staff of the Eagle Pass Police Department with the many responsibilities of protecting and serving the citizens and visitors of Eagle Pass. As officers and public servants of the law, we must always keep in mind and adhere to the many ethical principles of our democratic society.
Our main objective is to assure that we unselfishly demonstrate to our citizens our most sincere dedication and demonstrate a compassionate concern for whom we serve. The citizens of Eagle Pass and its visitors are our clients.
Protection and Service are our products. Interacting with people will always be challenging to us, however, Law Enforcement at times can become dangerous. We must always keep in mind and adhere to the many ethical principles of our democratic society.
Only God knows of the unpredictable issues that we as public servants must confront, are expected to react, and quickly remedy to the fullest satisfaction of all concern. And only the Spirit of the Lord will guide us in maintaining the Trust and Confidence of our Community. The mind controlled by the spirit of God is life and peace.
Always remember that Law Enforcement is our chosen profession. Let’s protect the trust that our community has entrusted upon us.
