Duties & Responsibilities

The Office of the City Secretary serves as the depository and custodian of all official and permanent city records. This office is also in charge of posting agendas and keeping records of the meetings of the City Council and all City boards/committees.

The City Secretary's Department is dedicated to serving the demands of the public and rendering the best quality service by:

  • Recognizing its responsibilities to the people
  • Inspiring public confidence and respect
  • Believing that honesty, integrity, loyalty, and courtesy form the basis of good government
